WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? RUN!!!!

I'm boiling with rage. I just do not understand some ladies. And honestly I don't think I ever will.
You continue to remain in a relationship where you are tolerated and not valued. You lower all you principles just to make it work. No attention, no care, no respect, nothing. And to add insults to injury he keeps on making you feel less of yourself by highlighting your flaws and shortcomings as though he is perfect. (A cheek of it)
Even a pet can love and treat you better than this.  I don't know why you said yes in the first place but I strongly believe it wasn't because you wanted to be used as a cook, a washing machine, a sex machine or a maid. (with no monthly salary too)
You continue to make excuses for them. "They will change. I just need to love them more. I just need to patience with him. Maybe if i stop talking to that friend he dislikes, he will see how committed I am." He says he doesn't want other guys looking at you, so he insists you treat skinny jeans like a plague. He says he doesn't like it when you apply makeup, so u stop. What will you use then? Powder?Ahba. Take his phone and you will see his poses with girls who have 3D makeup on. Wake up and get a whiff of the smoke. This is just the begginnig. Very soon you will have no friends to talk to or hang out with. And when he finally dumps you, it will hurt twice as much.
Its time you realize not everything is destined to work. If all relationships led to marriage, I'm sure your future husband would be married by now.
Grow a pair already. Walk away from that relationship.(did I say walk, I mean run) Yes its going to hurt. But it will hurt more when he tells you that he has moved on. It will hurt more when he introduces his new girl to you whilst you are still in La la land with him. Maamel3 make yourself a gem. Learn a new skill. Direct your energy into making yourself better and stronger. You know you have succeeded when a man becomes a want and not a need.

IS THIS GHANA?

Almost every Ghanaian has at some point in their educational journey written about their country. I recall how passionate we were, trying to find good things to say about Ghana. Even though the only people who were going to read our essays were our teachers, we endeavored to give it our best. We couldn't write about Ghana and exclude this line, "Ghanaians are hospitable". It run through almost all our essays. Indeed during my primary school days, Ghana was a hospitable country.      Ghana was that place where you could sit in a commercial vehicle and struck up a conversation with someone you had just met. Ghana was the place where you could meet someone on the pavement of Accra and start discussing the latest episode of "Storm over paradise". A place where we would rather talk and argue than resort to violence. That was my Ghana.Today I wonder if we can proudly say that line, "Ghanaians are hospitable".      For d...

WHY BLOGGING?

Reading is my life. I find it more exciting than spending a day at the beach{call me a nerd}. Writing on the other hand is my not so favourite. If it's not for marks at school or an entry into my diary, then i probably won't bother writing anything that exceeds five lines. So why did i start a blog? The answer is simple; boredom and OB ABENSER{ Founder of AuntieOboshie then FashionistaGh and Excelsis} I completed my diploma course yesterday.{diploma in communication studies,GIJ} What this means is that i have so much time on my hands but i have nothing to do, absolutely nothing. So my neighbour{Bra Ob} suggested that i do something profitable with my time. He suggested i travel or start a blog.Well with the current condition of my purse, travelling is out of the question. Moreover my over-protective dad will not permit it{i love him ruff}. I will take up travelling some day soon. That will be when my purse is smiling with me.  So here i am, with my own blog. Thanks to my ...

You are stronger than you think.

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to babysit an eight weeks old baby. He is so tiny and fragile. And truly, I was afraid I was going to break him, or worse cause him to choke if I didn't lay him down properly. Every minute, I had to ask google a question. How to lay him down properly, how to stop his hiccups, the right amount to feed him. It was the most hectic 5hrs of my life. As I kept on reading, one article ended with, "Babies are stronger than they look." At that point, I turned to look at the baby, I had laid him down on his tummy, as I kept looking at him, I saw him try to push himself up, he started with his legs and kept on kicking. It's nothing extraordinary I know, but I was intrigued by his persistence. He didn't cry, he kept on kicking, until I finally picked him up. What I'm I driving at? Most of us today are like babies. People look at you and call you weak, just because you do not match their self set standards. It could be at work, in school,ev...
